GPacket: Will Green Packet floating P1 to aid cashflow? With P1 turning EBITDA positive recently, it should be in a good position for a listing. In fact bankers had already been hired to look into this option of listing to raise capital.

Meanwhile speculation that other players interested in P1 are DiGi.Com Bhd and YTL Comm.


Gamuda: The stock may rebound when the political risks subside and there is more news flow on infra projects. Another potential catalyst for the construction industry is the proposed second MRT line. A firm decision on it is expected to be made over the next two to three quarter from Oct 2012.


Kulim/JCorp: EGM to be held on No 5 – 6 2012 for the proposed takeover of QSR and FKC by Massive Equity.


Gadang: It has been winning key ETP projects that has yet to be reflected in its share price (Oct 2012). This could be due to doubts the sustainability of its earnings given its volatile profit record and impending general election. The impending general election was a political risk to the ETP projects that Gadang has won, but since it could be held as late as April 2013, Gadang shares could meanwhile continue to run until then.

The group is currently bidding for jobs worth several billion ringgit in some of upcoming infrastructure and commercial projects as well as the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (Rapid) in Pengerang, Johor. The group is now (Oct 2012) bidding, together with its foreign joint-venture partners, for power-supply infrastructure jobs in the Rapid project. It is also bidding for some works in the Tun Razak Exchangeand KLCC basement car parks


TH Plantations: It may be selling the company's plantations in the Indonesian province of Riau to Indonesian-based unlisted company PT Borneo Pacificin a deal worth US$1.3bil (RM3.95bil).
